Traditional Programs
Our traditional programs take place in the evening hours and are generally hosted by one of our partner organizations. Past programs have covered on a wide range of topics, including neuroscience and mediation, employment mediation, ethics, and restorative circles with youth.
TalkAbout series
ACR-Illinois also offers a TalkAbout series, which are programs that take place over the lunch hour. These programs are very informal — presenters approach the program as a conversation about a topic of interest to them and to the community.
The programs are a fantastic networking and learning opportunity.
Networking and Resources
ACR-Illinois holds a monthly online networking session on the first Friday of each month at noon. This is a chance to connect with fellow dispute resolution professionals to build relationships, learn about job opportunities, discuss practice development and to reflect on mediations and share best practices. From time to time, these sessions may feature a speaker who will hold an interactive session on a particular topic.
